Body Life

In the New Testament, one of the marks of the early church was their love for one another.  We want the same to be true at RGC. We desire for all who see us to know that we are God's children by the love we show for one another.  True, abiding love is not easily fostered when we get together only for Sunday worship, so we provide many opportunities for those who are part of RGC to be together.

We gather in small groups three times per month to study the Scriptures together, share our lives with each another, and pray for one another.  These groups are an integral part of our ministry and provide a natural avenue for ministering love in a variety of practial ways such as providing meals, childcare, or helping with home projects.  Typically our home groups have about 10-12 adults in them, and meet in someone's home.

Please talk to one of the Elders if you are interesting in joining a Home Group.

WHEN: Every Tuesday or Thursday evening, 7:00 - 9:00pm
WHERE: Various Homes

Men's Prayer: On Thursday mornings twice a month, our men gather for prayer.  This is a rich time of fellowship, praise, and approaching our heavenly Father for the needs of our families, our church, God's kingdom, and our world.

Men's 416: Men's discussion on life and doctrine.  We are reading Wayne Grudem's book Bible Doctrine together.

Men's Prayer: 1st and third Thursday mornings, 6:30-7:30am
Men's 416: The last Sunday of each month, 6:30-8:00pm

WHERE: Redeeming Grace Church, 164 Ballard Road, Georgia, VT

Women's Prayer & Book Discussion: On the last Monday evening of each month, the women of RGC gather for prayer and sharing. Our goal is to “talk little and pray much”!   We focus on praise, thanksgiving and petition in a large group and then divide into groups of 4-5 to pray for each other more intimately.

Heart2Heart: We also meet one Saturday morning each month.  The focus of these mornings is Bible study rather than prayer.  Heart2Heart is a time when we gather as women to see how the Bible can encourage us to be faithful daughters of God, friends, wives and mothers.

Women's Prayer: Usually the last Monday of each month from 7:30-9pm
Heart2Heart: One Saturday each month from 9-11am
(See our calendar for specific dates)
