Awana 2023 - 2024
Awana is a fun, high-energy club where kids study and memorize Scripture, play team games, and enjoy special activities throughout the school year. Awana clubs celebrate the gospel of Christ, with a particular emphasis on Scripture memorization. Our Awana clubs for kids age 3 – 5th grade meet twice per month on Friday evenings from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm during the school year.
Grand Prix - May 10, 2024
We will be holding our Awana Grand Prix pinecar race on May 10th. All Sparks and T&T kids are welcome to build and race a car. Awards will be given for both the fastest cars and the most well-designed. The kits cost $5 each, and will be available whenever Awana meets.
Guidelines:
Parents, you may help your kids with any power tools or paint that requires caution, but we anticipate that each car will primarily be the product of your kid's effort, not yours.
For weight/dimensions, we will follow the BSA guidelines. The height limit is 3"
