Awana 2026 - 2027
Awana is a fun, high-energy club where kids study and memorize Scripture, play team games, and enjoy special activities throughout the school year. Awana clubs celebrate the gospel of Christ, with a particular emphasis on Scripture memorization. Our Awana clubs for kids age 3 – 6th grade meet twice per month on Friday evenings from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm during the school year.

Tips For Parents
Awana meets every other Friday during the school year. The Awana program is designed to help leaders reinforce the teaching parents do in the home.
Help your kids during the week
The cornerstone of Awana is Bible memorization. Gospel-centered verses and activities are included in the kids' handbooks. We encourage you to help your kids memorize at home during the week. A pacing schedule is available above to help keep your kid on-track to finish in 1 year. Kids work through their handbook sections in order. To complete a section, kids must be able to recite all the verses in a section with no more than 2 helps. Three-year-olds are encouraged to recite the reference, if they’re able, but are not required to do so. Sparks and T&T have a Bring-a-friend section which is required to earn the book award, but can be done at any time during the year.
In addition to alternate Friday nights, Andrew and Chelsea will be available on Sundays to listen to Awana verses.
Suggestions for Memorizing
Say the verse together, one phrase at a time
Help your kids understand any words they may be unfamiliar with.
Draw pictures to represent words/ideas in the verse
Think of hand motions to aid memorization or put the verse to music
Write out the verse, help your kid write out the verse
Use the audio CD in the handbook to reinforce learning

Don't underestimate your kids! Kids have a wonderful capacity for learning and can memorize Bible verses! You don't need me to tell you that each kid is a little different, so get a little curious to discover the best way for your kid to learn, and the best way for you to help.
Awana Bucks
Twice a year there will be a Store for Sparks and T&T clubbers. Kids earn Awana bucks throughout the year by saying sections, attending club, bringing their handbook, bringing their Bibles, bringing friends, and participating in theme nights. On store night, they get to spend their Awana bucks to buy toys, treats for themselves or others.
